'Freeform Floral'
Another collection within my final year's work at university. Again, based primarily on the sights and senses within Hong Kong, i juggled, dabbled, played with, and contrasted architectural structure within organic forms, alongside intense colour stories reflected behind the imagery in the forms of splats and coloured explosions. what you get is 'Freeform florals', a collection which tells you about a trip to the flower markets in Hong Kong. All designs are screen-printed.

Under the name 'Fin City' comes a collection for my final project at University. The main project titled: 'Genetic Conurbation', was based on a trip Hong Kong, I wanted to illustrate the intense and disparate qualities of life within cities. Drawing into contrast, and creating a juxtaposition of imagery, where organic life survives in one of the most densely populated cities on the planet, my work plays on the irony of life. Looking at such intense man-made architecture and primarily sourcing imagery from the inner street markets within Hong Kong, fish meets city in this juxtaposition of life beneath the metropolis. This selection of samples were digitally printed onto silk and crepe de chine, directly from scanned paintings.
